Thanks to its central location, Schoppernau is an excellent starting point for ski tours with an alpine character in the Bregenz Forest.

The entry point to reach over 62 kilometres of perfectly maintained cross-country skiing trails – including 12 kilometres of skating-style runs – is just opposite Hotel Hirschen.
The largest ski resort in Austria is only a twenty-minute drive away from the Hirschen Hotel and Spa. The ski bus makes a stop right in front of our hotel.
Winter fun is guaranteed at the Grunholzlift in Au. Every Wednesday and Friday, there is night-time skiing with mulled wine and boozy Jagatee at the Lifthüsle.
