The Bregenzerwald offers a wide range of cycle paths, mountain bike trails, and motorbike trails for bikers. Bicycles are available for loan from the hotel, free of charge.
Along the way, there are a variety of refreshments. The paths are mostly paved, the walking and cycling path Achtal (please note pedestrians!) is graveled, low gradient with sometimes easy counter-climbs.
For all those who prefer cycling on demanding routes, there is a number of highly challenging cycle routes that begin right outside our front door. Schoppernau is also the perfect starting point for motorbike tours in the Alps. You can expect meandering mountain roads and unique passes, such as the Hochtannberg, Furka, Arlberg, Reschen, and Riedberg passes.
